(104) Koukadani Tumulus, Yame District, Fukuoka Prefecture (39-meter diameter round tomb with decorative decoration)
弘化谷（こうかだに）古墳はUFO型の円墳で直径39ｍ・高さ7ｍの2段築成。
壕と周堤を含めた外径は55mに達する。
The Koka-dani burial mound is a UFO-shaped round burial mound with a diameter of 39 m and a height of 7 m. It was constructed in two stages.
The outer diameter, including the shelter and perimeter bank, reaches 55m.
墳頂へは階段で登ることができる
墳頂からの眺めはよい
当時の姿が復元されて、公園として整備されているので
７ｍの高さから子供たちがお尻で滑り降りていく。
The tomb has been restored to its original form and is now a park, where children can slide down from a height of 7 meters on their bums.
埋葬施設は西南西に開口する単室の横穴式石室で、
玄室部長さ約4.6m・最大幅4.1m・高さ3.6m。
The burial facility is a single chambered stone chamber opening to the southwest, with a length of 4.6m, a maximum width of 4.1m, and a height of 3.6m.

割石を積み上げた石室の正面には熊本の肥後系統の
埋葬者を安置する石屋形が設置されている。
In front of the stone chamber made of broken stones, there is a stone house for the burial of the Higo lineage of Kumamoto.
奥壁、両側壁・天井石の7面には赤・緑・黄色で三角形文・双脚輪状文・円文・矢筒（靫）などが描かれている。
特に双脚輪状文（そうきゃくりんじょうもん）は全国で4例しか確認されていない。
On the seven sides of the back wall, both side walls, and the ceiling stone, triangular patterns, bipedal rings, circles, and arrow cylinders (quiver) are painted in red, green, and yellow. In particular, there are only four examples of the bipedal ring pattern in Japan.
石室は毎年4月と11月に公開される。

出土品は盗掘のためイヤリング・管玉・矢じり・土器などの一部のみ
Only a few artifacts such as earrings, jade, arrowheads, and earthenware were excavated due to theft.
