There are two burial facilities, one at the neck and the other at the back of the circle.
In the neck, there is a box-shaped sarcophagus, 1.9m long and 0.9m short, with a large round-headed sword, gilt-bronze ear rings, and glass beads. From a distance of about 1m, gags, apricot leaves, tsuji metal fittings, mirror plates, saddle fittings and other horse equipment were also excavated.
In the rear circle, there is a stone chamber with a side hole opening to the south, about 9 meters long.
It has a multi-chambered structure consisting of a back chamber, front chamber, enclosed passage, and vestibule. In the back chamber, there are three box-shaped sarcophagi: an inner box-shaped sarcophagus along the back wall, an eastern box-shaped sarcophagus along the left and right side walls, and a western box-shaped sarcophagus.
Gilt-bronze ear rings were excavated from the inner box-shaped sarcophagus, kabutochi swords, round-headed swords, and silver-armored knives from the eastern box-shaped sarcophagus, and gilt-bronze ear rings from the western box-shaped sarcophagus.
In addition, a straight sword, an iron spear, an iron arrowhead, the cover with a copper handle, an apricot leaf, a cloud bead, metal fittings, saddle fittings, and a sword were excavated from the back of the front chamber.
In addition, from the south side of the tomb, bow nocks, swords, sword accessories, straight swords, and Sue ware were excavated.
Based on these findings, it is thought that this tomb was buried four times between the late 6th and mid 7th centuries.
It is estimated to have been built at the end of the 6th century.
