茨城県土浦市の武者塚古墳（出土品は重文）

この武者塚古墳は畑の耕作中に偶然、未盗掘の石室が発見された！
This Mushazuka burial mound was discovered by chance while cultivating a field, and the unearthed stone chamber was discovered!
すでに墳丘は失われていたが、周溝を巡らせた直径23Ｍの円墳
The mound had already been lost, but it was a 23-meter-diameter circular tomb with a circumferential ditch.
不思議なのは石室のつくり
What is curious is the design of the stone chamber.
地上の横穴から出入りせず、地下の前室の上の蓋石を外して前室に降り、横の玄室に行くように作られている。
The stone chamber is designed in such a way that one does not enter and exit through a side hole on the ground, but goes down to the front chamber by removing the cover stone above the front chamber, and then to the side basement.
横穴式石室と箱式石棺の特徴を併せ持った独特の形態で、長さは３Ｍ、幅1.5Ｍ。

石室からは6体の人骨が発見され、そのうち一体から全国でも非常に珍しい「美豆良（みずら）」（髪を耳元で束ねたもの）と髭（ひげ）が発見された。
