生目古墳群は、宮崎市のそれほど広くない丘陵上にAC300代～500年代（古墳時代前期から後期）の間、50基が築造されている。
The Ikume Kofun Tumulus Group consists of 50 burial mounds built between the 300s and 500s AC (early to late Kofun period) on a not very wide hill in Miyazaki City.
100ｍ越えの古墳が３基をはじめ、大小の円墳、前方後円墳がたくさん散らばっていて、きれいなトイレもあり、非常によく整備された古墳公園となっている。
