Japan's oldest and largest stone pagoda in Shiga!

滋賀県東近江市にある石塔（いしどう）寺 （８）
Ishidouji Temple in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture (8)
石塔寺は、聖徳太子創建の伝承をもつ寺院で、
Ishidouji Temple was founded by Prince Shotoku
境内には、インドの阿育（あしょか）王塔の伝承がある
石造三重塔が立っている。
and has a stone three-story pagoda in its precincts,
which is said to have been built by King Ashoka of India.
石造三重塔は国の重要文化財で日本最古かつ日本最大
The stone three-storied pagoda is a national important cultural property and is the oldest and largest in Japan.
AC710-730（奈良時代前期）に建立され高さ7.6mに及ぶ
It was built in the early Nara period (710-730) and stands 7.6 meters high.
韓国の定林（じょうりん）寺にある石塔によく似ている！
I think it is very similar to the stone pagoda in Jorim Temple in Korea!
しかも定林寺は「百済」最後の都「扶余（ぷよ）」にある（後日ご紹介予定）
Furthermore, Jeorimsa is located in Buyeo,in the last capital of Baekje
(to be introduced later).
「669年、滅亡した百済から700名余を近江国蒲生野へ移住させた」旨が
日本書紀にあるほか、
It is written in the Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan) that "in 669, more than 700 people from the defunct Baekje were relocated to Gamono in Omi Province,"
聖徳太子創建の伝承がある百済（ひゃくさい）寺もあるくらいだ。
and there is even a Baekje Temple that is said to have been founded by Prince Shotoku.
