I like cycling as before. I wanted to go cycling at Lake Biwa, because Lake Biwa has almost full cycling roads and there are kinds of facilities for cycling.I have cycled around Lake Biwa several years ago.It took me a whole day, but this time I would spend half a day cycling the surrounding area of Omihachiman City.I developed plans for a trip and I planned to go to Hikone Castle the first day, and Omihachiman City the second day.I'm going to stay at Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel. I can get a massive discount at the hotel. I'm very lucky.I went to Hikone Castle the first day.Hikone Castle is designated as a national treasure.There are five castles designated as a national treasure in Japan.They are Matsumoto Castle, Inuyama Castle, Himeji castle, Matsue Castle and Hikone Castle.This is the bridge leading to TenbinYagura, Balance Scale Tower.The way from the Otemon, entrance, to the Tensyukaku, the castle tower, was very steep for me.There was no elevator or escalator.Please look at the next instructions.On the right side from Tenbin Yagura I could see Hikone City.On the left side from Tenbin Yagura I could see Lake Biwa.This is Taikomaru, a space leading to Honmaru.The building on the right side in the picture is Taikomon and Tsuzukimon, the gate protecting Honmaru, where the Tower of Hikone Castle stands.This is the Tower of Hikone Castle.From the tower; north -eastern direction. There is Hikone multipurpose sports ground.south-western direction, I could see Mt. Kakuyoku where I went to the next day, in the distance.north direction, I could see Nishinomaru Sanjyuyagura and Tsuzukiyagura on the hill.It's more dangerous to go down the stairs of the tower than going up them.I heard the inclination of the stairs is sixty two degrees.I guessed it was almost vertical.Please read the instructions about the Tower of Hikone Castle.The stairs from Honmaru to Omotemon, the front entrance, was steep for me.We were waiting for our favorite friend.He came out in front of us. His name is Hikonyan.
