へ行って来ました
ベルギー、フランス、モナコ、イタリア、スイス、ルクセンブルクの6カ国を車で移動し、
総走行距離はなんと、3,500km！
北海道の北"宗谷岬"から、沖縄の離島"与那国島"くらいまでの距離なのです
たくさんの出逢いがあり、思い出深いツアーでした。
ツアーの途中に立ち寄った南フランスの街〝アヴィニョン〟
中世の史跡が数多く残る素敵な街でしたので、少しご紹介いたします
① 「サン・ベネゼ橋」
ここは、フランス民謡
の舞台なのです♪
12世紀後半にローヌ川に初めて架けられた石造りの橋です。
何度もローヌ川の洪水に遭い、橋の大部分は流されてしまいました。
②「アヴィニョン教皇庁」
1309年から1377年の間、7人のローマ法王が住んでいた宮殿です。
ヨーロッパ最大級のゴシック様式の建物で、総面積は約15,000㎡！という壮大さなのです。
③「Maison Brémond 1830」
ロクシタン創業者"オリヴィエ・ボーサン"が、地元の生産者とともにオリーブオイル、トリュフ製品、コンフィチュールなどをつくり、
販売している素敵なショップもあります

④「Le Monde du Savon de Marseille」
南フランスで生まれた石鹸やさん。
大きな釜で炊き上げる昔ながらの製法で上質なマルセイユ石鹸が作り続けられています。
鮮やかな色や香りを楽しめるパフューム石鹸が目を引くショップです♪

The city of Southern France "Avignon" that I visited during the tour
It was a wonderful city with many medieval historic sites, so I would like to introduce.
It is a famous as a French folk song "On the Bridge of Avignon" ♪
It is the first stone bridge over the Rhone river in the end of the 12th century. Many floods on the Rhone have destroyed most of the bridge.
The seven Popes had lived here between 1309 and 1377. It is one of the largest Gothic buildings in Europe and has a total area of about 15,000 square meters.
There is also a nice shop where L'Occitane founder "Olivier Baussan" makes and sells olive oil, truffle products, confitures, etc. with local producers✨
This shop was born as a soap shop in southern France. High-quality Marseille soaps are made by the traditional method in a large cauldron.
You can enjoy bright colors and fragrance of soap♪
