ビリー・ジョエルが ’８３年にリリースしたアルバム 『 Ａｎ Ｉｎｎｏｃｅｎｔ Ｍａｎ 』 （ 邦題 ： イノセント・マン ）
は、 リズム・アンド・ブルースやドゥー・ワップなどアメリカン・オールディーズからの影響が色濃い
明るい作風でしたが。
そのアルバムからの 第１弾シングルとしてリリースされたのがこの 『 Ｔｅｌｌ Ｈｅｒ Ａｂｏｕｔ Ｉｔ 』
（ 邦題 ： あの娘にアタック ・・・この邦題はアレですけど・・・ ） です。
このご機嫌なサウンドは、 ’６０年代大人気だったモータウン・サウンドへのオマージュと言われ
