ロンドンから猫好き、話好きの去年退職したという女性ゲストが来てくれました。
2023/10/16-19、3泊。
ご自身も猫を1匹飼われていて、生涯猫のいなかったときはなかったそうです。
A retired lady who loves cats and talking stayed three nights from 2023/10/16 to 10/19.
She herself had a cat and she has been with cats all her life.
話好きの明るいゲストで、滞在中ずっと猫のことを気にしてくれていました。
She is a bright person. She liked talking and loving cats all the time.
来られた翌日は私も時間があったので彼女の夕食を買いにスーパーマーケットと頭痛薬を買いにドラッグストアに車で行きました。日本の店での買い物は初めての経験で楽しそうでした。
The next day she came, since I had time, I took her to a super market and a drug store.
She seemed to enjoy walking and buying in the stores in Japan.
話好きでいろんな話を聞きました。
印象に残っているのはきつねの話。
イギリスには日本の狸と同じくらいきつねがいるようで住んでいるアパートの近くにも寄ってくるそうです。
でも狸はいないそうです。
イギリスにきつねがいて、狸がいないのは初めて聞きましたし、びっくりでした。
日本にもきつねはいますが、私自身北海道以外では見たことないです。
She liked talking and heard many things.
I was impressed by foxes. In Britain or London, there were as many foxes as racoon dogs in Japan.
They came near around the apartment she lived.
However, there were no racoon dogs in Britain or London. I was suprised to hear that there were foxes and no racoon dogs. We do have foxes, but I have never seen foxes except in Hokkaido.

銚子の後、東京に行くそうですが、東京に行かずにもう一泊ここにいたかったとうれしいことを言ってくれました。
After Choshi, she will go to Tokyo. She said she should have stayed one more night here without going to Tokyo.
I was happy to hear it to know she liked my place and Choshi that much.
また日本に来るときは寄ってくださいね。
