Okay, I'm flailing! And I'm happy!
I just went into town to go to my physiotherapy and had to go another because of a construction site. Usually I never go there because it's much longer but today I'm totally happy that I did.
Alright, so I tried to walk as dignified as possible (I'm still walking with my crutch) with my iPod playing and just focused on getting to my destination (inwardly cursing the construction company for choosing today of all days to start working) when suddenly something bumped into me. Confused as ever I turned to see this teenage Japanese boy (he was around 14 years and already a head taller than me (`×´) ) standing next to me and apologizing like he just killed my pet (I so love that about you guys! Germans are such rude people). Well, I was a little bit surprised but told him in my absolute horrible Japanese that it's okay. (You should have seen his eyes!) He just grinned after the shock wore off and began to talk in Japanese. I just got about half of it and after about five minutes he finally figured it out. So we switched to German and talked for a bit.
He told me that his name is Kaito and that his parents just opened a little shop here. At this I looked behind him and for sure, there was a new store. My facial expression must have been enough because suddenly he dragged me inside and I found myself in paradise!
There really is a Japanese store here! You need to know, the next store was in Dusseldorf which is about 30 minutes from here and the parking facilities there are just horrible. But now I can get all my favorite things just around the corner! (which I immediately did!)
