(The original blog in Japanese is here. 「小さな応援歌」)
Crimes that are committed by hiding behind money and power, like throwing a stone from behind something. Is it okay to do bad things if no one finds out?
But there is someone watching, and that is heaven. And that is the most frightening thing.
It is better to make atonement in this world before facing a terrible fate after death. The punishment in this world is lighter. Because after death is eternal. Your leaders have also said, "Hell of Incessant Suffering."
The judge of the afterlife will say, "Depart from me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his minions" (Matthew 25).
Isn't it naive to think that it is okay to break any law if you do it for the Lotus Sutra (it is one of the Buddhism scriputre)? Are you abandoning your efforts to convert others and turning to persecution? Isn't there someone who will fight more openly?
Those who show hell to others will see hell themselves after death. Rather than harassing those who oppose him, why not risk his own life, endure persecution, and spread his teachings?
What is the point of involving so many people in a shameful crime? The posthumous trial of the masterminds and those at the core of it will surely be a terrible one.
