Kotaro Sato the designer, established Cruce and Co.
and Art Project GMW in 2011 with the idea of not only creating art,
but as a total concept and creative philosophy based on “Art in Life”.
With the artist’s extensive studies in painting and painting
restoration honed
in the United States and Italy respectively,
he is
able to mold his innovative designs by blending different materials
while pioneering new technology and fresh combinations.
The creator prefers to use natural materials such as leather, mud,
stone, wood, wax, iron, fabric,
bare metals and processes
from antiquity to leave artistic impressions on our everyday life.
For Kotaro Sato, a global citizen, inspiration and experience is gleaned through music, the science of religion, history, culture, fashion, film, and people. All of these facets nourish his work and lead to endless creative journeys and dreams.
