ドコモのお店に行ってスマホの修理をしてもらいました。I had my phone repaired at a Docomo shop.
思ったより簡単に終わりました。It took shorter than I had expected.
写真や動画が増えた時のために、In order to stock more photos and movies, I inserted a ＳＤ card for stolling them. SDカードを入れて写真の保存先にしていたのですが、そちらがどういうわけか故障して、It was, however, out of order somehow, そのせいで写真が撮れなくなっていました。which made it unable to take photos. こういうカードは精密機器で、This kind of card is so delicate that it could be broken even if you are careful. 扱いが悪くなくても原因不明で壊れることがあるそうです。
写真の保存先を本体に変えると保存はできるようになりましたが、When they changed the stolling point to inside the phone, the problem was fixed, but they said the inserted card could do harm to new pictures' deta from now on. 今後SDカードを入れたままだとまた新しい写真のデータまで悪くなる可能性があるとのことで、カードを取り外しました。So I decided to take out the card.
せっかくカードを入れていたのに使えなくなって残念です。It was too bad I can't use the card anymore. でも、直ったこと自体は良かったです。Having said that, I'm relieved the phone itself was all right.
写真のデータは以前パソコンにバックアップしてもらったので、As I had my old photos backuped in my laptop, old photos weren't lost. 大切な古い写真は無くならずにすみました。帰って来てから調べてみたら、When I checked on the web at home, it turned out that my SD card might be expired. SDカードの寿命かもしれないとわかってきました。ものによっては3年くらいしか持たないようで、思ったより短いです。Some cards could keep only a few years, which surprised me.
新しい写真の一部はなくなりましたが仕方がありません。Some of the newer photos were gone, it can't be helped. 壊れやすかったり、長持ちしなかったり、SDカードを使うのも考えものだなと思います。It's hard to handle SD cards since they are fragile or won't keep long. テクノロジーの進化はいいのですが、人間の方がアナログなのでついていけません。I appreciate developing technologies, but they are too complicated for me to keep up with it.
