注文していたウクレレが届きました。The ukulele I'd ordered has arrived.
初心者用のセットで、It's a ukulele set for beginners. 勧められたのは相当高かったので、The one the teachers recommended was expensive, so I ordered a used one on Mercari app to save money. メルカリで中古を買って少し節約しました。
持ってみたら軽くて、It was lighter than I'd expected, 最初から音が鳴らせることにまず驚きました。and to my surprise, I was able to play some sounds at first touch. 弦楽器は常にチューニングが必要なことも忘れていて、I'd forgotten that stringed instruments always need to be tuned, 扱いの簡単なチューナーもセットになっていて良かったです。so it's good that the set included a handy tuner.
今日から練習したかったのですが、I wanted to practice it immediately, チューナーの電池が切れていたので買いに行きます。but the battery of the tuner was dead, so I'll go to get one. 最初はチューニングが難しそうですが、Tuning seems to be difficult at first, so I checked some tips on youtube.
YouTubeでいろいろやり方の説明を見たのでやってみようと思います。I'd like to try following them.
レッスンは14日からですが、Lessons will start on 14th, this month. それまでに少しは自主練習をしておきたいです。But I'd like to practice playing it a little by myself. たとえ1曲でも弾けるようになったらとても嬉しいだろうなとワクワクしています。I can't wait when I get to play one tune, which surely would make me thrilled.
