昨日は冬なのに春を思わせるような明るい日差しの1日でした。It was such a sunny pleasant day yesterday although it is in mid winter. 久しぶりに散歩に出てみると、I took a walk for the first time in about a week in the neighborhood, 近所では蝋梅の花が盛りです。seeing the height of beauty of Roubai plum blossoms, literally means wax plum.

寒椿や山茶花もいろいろなお宅で見頃です。Variety of camelias are in full bloom at many gardens.
白いのは清らかな感じです。White ones has a holy atmosphere.
もっと遠くまで行きたかったのに、すぐ帰ってきてしまいました。まだまだ体力が足りません。I'm not strong enough to go far, so I just walked for about fifteen minutes, which was a shame.
