この間見つけたかぼちゃの花がどうなったか気になってまた見に行きました。I was curious to know how the pumpkin flowers were after I found them the other day, so I went to check them again.
でも、Unfortunately, however, at a closer look, they were mostly male ones and few female ones. よく観察すると雄花が多くて、雌花は少ししかありませんでした。
下の方の花は雌花かもしれません。The lower one in the picture might be a female flower.
近くを探すと、Looking around, 小さな日本かぼちゃの実がありました。there was a little Japanese pumpkin. もしかしたら枯れた花の一部が受粉していて実るかもと期待しています。
I expect to see some of the withered flowers which got pollens might bear fruits.
どれくらいかかるのか、捨てられたような畑なので世話をされているのかも分かりませんが、I'm not sure how long it would take to bear fruits or whether they are looked after properly since they looked abandoned, but I'm going to check them again. もう一度確かめに来るつもりです。もし実が増えていたらまたお知らせします。If there are more pumpkins, I'll let you know in the blog.
