と言うことは虚無主義、厭世的な世界観だと考えられるし、Therefore, he should have a world pessimistic view. そのイメージから言うとこの言葉は矛盾しているように思えます。That image contradicts this adage.
真実の山とは何で、What is the mountain of truth? 登るとは何をすることでしょうか？What does climbing the mountain mean? 学問の高みと考えると、If it is a summit of study, is it reaching the extreme truth? その究極の真実を追究することでしょうか？もしそうなら、If so, ordinary people can't climb it. 市井の人は真実の山に登れないことになります。無駄に終わると言う言葉も不思議です。I'm not sure the meaning of the phrase ''end in vain''.
ニヒリズムではすべてのことに意味がないと考えるので、Everything is nonsense in nihilism, so nothing would end in vain, rather all are useless. 無駄に終わると言うよりも元々全て無駄なものばかり、自分の命も無意味、Your life, pondering anything, searching truths are all meaningless.考えることも真実の追究も無意味です。
たとえそう感じていても人間は、Even when you feel so, everyone including philosophers can't stop thinking.哲学者でなくても考えることをやめられないですね。森羅万象の均整の取れた営みを知ると意味がないとは思えないし、When we look at every creature's proportional movements, they can't be meaningless. 神の存在さえ信じたくなります。We want to believe in gods.
特に鳥や犬、猫、蛙などの動物の美しさを見ていると驚嘆せずにはいられなくて、Birds' dogs' cats' frogs' beauty especially amazes me, I wish they were created by gods' intention. 神の意思によって作られているのならいいのにと考えてしまいます。
