Tired...
I actually thought this morning "hey its like 6:30am, thats quite late" ...
WOT. This coming from me, who used to find it hard to get out of bed
at 8:00am. As soon as this ends, my sleeping pattern better return to
normal, otherwise I might actually start getting into Worldwide House
on time.
Anyway... being put up again today and tomorrow. The Hilton this time, so
an evening of wandering the streets, buying Chocolate Hobnobs, and
some other stuff to be confirmed. Oh, and doing a days overtime on
Saturday. Yay(!)
All while I could be back in the 'bech, playing ストリートファイター
Oh well
Night in London 2: This Time its Personal
They asked - nearly begged - me to do overtime this Saturday. As the days are
so bloody long already, I agreed to it, as long as I got put up in a hotel again.
They said yes, so this Thursday and Friday night I'll be back in the Hilton, for
the first time since June 2004. Ah, those were the days...
Only downside is I'll miss out on playing Street Fighter IV, and watching the
all-new LOST... but I guess an extra £100ish quid can't be sniffed at. It will
come in handy for my holiday, or some such.
It now seems that my last day will be around next Wednesday, which is fine
with me. Its nice to go away, but its also nice to go back home, isn't it?
The Beginning of the End?
Will this be the last week of my exciting London adventure? Word on the street
seems to suggest it will be...
At the same time I'll be happy and sad.

It has been, what, 5-6 weeks? Plenty of
time to start settling in and getting to know people properly. On the other hand,
it would be nice not having to get up at 5:30am every morning. Although I am starting
to get used to (or have just accepted) it.
Well, we'll see. I'm going to take advantage of one more free night in a hotel,
I feel the company owes me that. Unlikely I'll get any financial reward from this otherwise...
Not that I did it for the money, but I've put a substantial amount of my own
personal time into this.
The inevitable return to Peterborough will seem like a massive step back again,
but in these uncertain times I'm lucky to have a job..
Cheer up! Street Fighter IV is out this week! I go back to 東京 in May! Plenty to look forward to!
