The sun doesn't choose to shine , but I could . Would have loved to try a sunset here as well but didn't have enough time in Bagan. The place (#shwesando #pagoda) is marvelous. This is currently the main temple from which people catch sunset, this is due to the height of the temple that you can climb up to the top and spend a while just sitting up there and admiring the view. I counted 240 pagodas and stupas in a 90° angle, meaning there is easily more than thousands of them around this place, as there are more below the treetops. i heard that rather go for North of South Guni for sunrise cause cause it's so crowded during sunrise/sunset time.
