親愛なるみなさま
私はこの声明を書くことにしました。私の怪我、私の現在の状態、そしてこれから何があるかについての近況を共有します。
ほとんどの人が知っているように、私は8月に怪我をしました。
手術とリハビリを含む、激しく目標をたてて成功した回復プロセスの後、私はダンスに戻る準備ができていた - 手術後わずか5週間と負傷から3ヶ月後。
残念ながら、12月初旬から練習を再開するところで、健康上の理由ではなく、予定通り進めないとの連絡が入りました。怪我をしている間にイナが競技ダンスから即時退場する決断を下しました。
- したがって、大きな悲しみと共に、私たちは共に競技キャリアの終止符に達したことを発表します。20年間の特別なパートナーシップの結論を示します。
私はもちろん、イナがこの決定を下す権利を尊重し、彼女が自分の将来のために望む方向性を理解しています。 残念ながら、私たちの道は今、異なる方向に導いており、この章をどう閉じるかについて同じビジョンを共有していません。
20年間一緒に踊った後、私はいつもこの決断が下されることを想像していました。

I’ve decided to write this statement to share an update about my injury, my current state, and what lies ahead.
As most of you know, I sustained an injury back in August.
After an intense, targeted and successful recovery process, including surgery and rehabilitation, I was ready to return to dancing - just five weeks post-surgery and three months after the initial injury.
Unfortunately, just as I was about to resume practice in early December, I was informed that I wouldn’t be able to proceed as planned, not due to health reasons, but because while I was injured, Ina had made the decision to step away from competitive dancing with immediate effect.
- It is, therefore, with great sadness that I announce that we have reached the end of our competitive career together, marking the conclusion of an extraordinary 20-year partnership.
I, of course, respect Ina’s right to make this decision and understand the direction she wishes to take for her future. Unfortunately, our paths are now leading in different directions, and we no longer share the same vision for how to close this chapter.
After 20 years of dancing together, I had always imagined this decision being made with mutual understanding, careful planning, and respect for both our needs and everything we had built and shared together.
While other ways of retiring and saying our farewell would have been possible and appropriate, several factors surrounding this process, have left us in an unfamiliar position as we move forward.
.. None of this will ever take anything away from the incredible journey we shared together - and I will always cherish the unique memories we created and the magic we brought to the dance floor.
