【2歳 息子】トイトレについて！
こんにちは！バイリンガル育児中の一児の母今日も元気にブログ更新Hi!I'm a mom of one kidwno is raising bilingual kid.I'll update my blog today as well.もうすぐ3歳になる息子My son, who is turning three soon.実はいまだにオムツで生活していましたAs a matter of fact,he was still living in diapers.かなり前に急に「ちっち」と言い出した時に少しだけトイレトレーニングをしたんですが上手くいかずすぐに断念A while back,when he suddenly started saying"pee pee,"I tried potty training him a little,but it didn't go well,so I gave up right away.でも、この前入園説明会に行った時に同じく満3歳児クラスに通う子達のほとんどがオムツを卒業していましたBut, when we went to the orientationfor the preschool program the other day,most of the children attending the same"full three year old" classas my son had already graduatedfrom diapers.幼稚園の先生は「まだオムツ外れてない子もいるよ」とオムツの場合の説明をしてくれましたThe kindergarten teacherexplained the situation regarding diapers,saying, "There are still some childrenwho aren't potty trained yet."でも、あと1ヶ月もしないうちに2人目の子供が生まれます。But my second child will be bornin less than a month.ママさんならみんな分かると思うけど赤ちゃんの頃ってオムツの消費量半端じゃないじゃないですかI think every mom knows this,but the number of diapers a baby goesthrough is just insane, isn't it?それに加えて息子もオムツとなるとかなり出費があるなぁと思っていたんですOn top of that,I realized that having my son indiapers too would really add upto a significant expence.だから、今回の入園説明会を機に息子にはオムツを卒業してもらおうと思い、本格的にトイレトレーニングを開始しましたSo, I desided to use this upcomingpreschool orientation as an opportunityto get my son put of diapers,and I started potty training in earnest.前にトイレトレーニング用のパンツを購入して履かせていたんですが、あれも割と吸収しちゃって効果がなかったので、今回普通のパンツを購入して履かせてみましたI previously bought potty training pants for my son,but they were actually quite absorbent anddidn't really work, so this timeI desided to buy and try out regular underwear.1日目おしっこ・うんち共に100%失敗でも、息子本人には濡れて気持ちが悪いという感覚がわかってこの失敗が逆に良かったですDay 1100% failure with both peeing and pooing.However, my son realized that beingwet felt uncomfortable,so these failures actually turned outto be a goot thing.2日目おしっこは80%成功！うんちは失敗前日の”濡れたら気持ちが悪い”という感覚のおかげでトイレに座っておしっこが出来るようになってきました。とはいえまだ事後の時も夜寝る時もオムツ履かずに寝かせたらおねしょしてしまったので夜はNGDay 2He was 80% successful with peeing!He had accident with pooing.Thanks to the realezation from the daybefore that getting wet feels unpleasant,he has started being able to sit on the toilet to pee.That said, there are still timeswhen he goes after the fact.We tried letting him sleep without a diaper,so nighttime is a no go for now.3日目おしっこは99%成功！うんちは失敗家にいる時は基本おしっこは成功してきたけど外出時に1回だけ失敗夜は寝ていても起きて教えてくれるようになったDay 3He succeseeded with peeing 99% of the time!He had an accident with pooing.While he has generally been successfullwith peeing when at home,he had just one accident while we were out.He's also started waking up to let meknow he needs to go,even while sleeping at night.4日目おしっこはほぼ100%成功！うんちも成功前日までうんちは失敗していたので念の為オムツを履かせていたんですが、それでもおしっこの時は毎回教えてくれてずっと汚さず過ごせていましたそして、トイレに座ったらなんと4日目にしてうんちもトイレで済ませられましたDay 4He was successful withpeeing almost 100% of the time!He also succeeded with pooping!Since he had acidents with bowel movements upuntil the previous day,I had him wear a diaper just in case,even so, he let me knowevery time he needed to pee,so he managed to stay clean the whole time.And then, when he sat on the toiletbelieve it or nothe managed to do his poop in the toileton this fourth day.「トイレトレーニングするならずっと家の中で過ごして集中的に短期間でやったほうがいい」と聞いていたので、この4日間、日中はずっと家にいましたI had heard that if you're going topotty train your child,it's best to stay homeand do it intensively over a short period,so I stayed home all day for the past four days.まだおしっこでトイレに行くスパンは安定しないので、すぐにトイレに行けれる状況じゃないと手遅れになってしまう可能性もありますThe intervals between bathroom tripsaren't consistent yet,so if we aren't in a situation wherewe can get to the toilet immediately,it might betoo late.うんちもまだ1回しか成功していないので明日は失敗する可能性もありますHe has only successfully pooped once so far,so there is a possibility he might havean accident tomorrow.でも、この4日間でかなり成長したし、息子の理解力の良さに感動していますBut he has grown a lot over these past four days,and I am impressed by how well he understands things."このまま順調にオムツが外れてくれるといいな〜"と思っていますI'm hoping he'll continue to meke good progresswith potty training.
