昨日の雪は、予想以上に降っていてびっくりしましたが、今朝には、もうほとんど、日陰以外は溶けてしまっています。
今日は、先日キルティングサービスにご依頼いただいたキルトの紹介をさせていただきます。

以前、ご依頼をいただいたお客様のご紹介でご依頼をいただきました。
画像および動画の使用許可はいただいております。なおこの使用許可をいただくにあたって、初回限定ですがキルティング代から10%オフのサービスをつけさせていただいております。

今回はご希望のキルティングデザインをあらかじめ伺っていましたので、そのご希望に沿って進めさせていただきました。
In this case, I asked the customer in advance what kind of quilting design she wanted, so l
proceeded according to her wishes.

この白鳥と名付けられたキルティングデザインは、とてもディテールが細かくてあり針数も多いキルティングデザインになります。
私のミシンでは拡大できる範囲が限られているため、かなり細かくキルティングしていくようなイメージになります。

糸のカラーは、キルティングデザインが複雑で、重なるようなラインもたくさんあるのでシンプルな糸を選んでいただきました。
このようなデザインに、グラデーションの糸を使うと糸の色が重なってしまい、きれいに見えないことがあるので糸選びもそのようなことも加味しながら選ばせていただいております。
The color of the thread was chosen to be
simple because the quilting design
is complicated and there are many overlapping lines.
If l use gradation thread for such a design, the colors of the thread may overlap and it may
not look beautiful, so I took this into
consideration when choosing the thread.

⬆️キルティング出来ました。
The quilting is done.
今回はベッドで、使われると言うことでバンブーキルト綿をお選びいただきました。
バインディングもご依頼頂きましたので引き続きロングアーム上で作業していきます。
Binding was also requested, so Iwill continue to work on the longarm.

バインディングは、バインディングテープを作るところから作業させていただきますので。用尺分の布を送っていただくだけで、こちらで全て作業させていただきます。
For binding, I can make the binding tape for
you. All you need to do is to send me the length of the fabric and I will do all the work for you.

キルトトップ側は、ロングアームミシンでバインディングテープを縫い付けます。
⬆️表側を縫い付けましたら、ロングアームミシンからは外して周りのいらない部分をカットします。この作業が1番緊張します。
慎重にカットして行きます。
After sewing the front side, remove it from the long arm machine and cut off the unwanted
parts around it. This is the most stressful part of the process.
Cut carefully.
周りのいらない部分をカットしたら、表側から裏側にバインディングを折り返し、アイロンをかけその後、また表側から裏側と一緒にステッチをかけて行きます。
After cutting the unwanted parts around the
binding, fold the binding from the front side to the back side, iron it, and then stitch again from the front side.
出来上がりました！
The quilt is now complete!
