↑I started our quilting service in March 2021 using a long-arm sewing machine and a
computerized system called Pro Stitcher,
which is rare in Japan.
This is a long document. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I ask that please read it carefully before submitting your request.
My English is not very good. I'm sorry if my
English is not correct in some parts.

How to Order Quilting Service
① Please give me your name and address
②Measure the size of your quilt top
Length✖️ width (size including seam
allowance)
Please send me one photo of the quilt top.
③Select a quilting design Please choose your
favorite quilting design from the link below.
You can choose from a total of 21 different
designs. The quilting fee differs depending on
the design, so please confirm the quilting fee. The quilting design is an all-over (Edge to edge . E2E) quilting, in which the entire quilt is
quilted with the same design. It is not possible to make a different design for the border only.
④Please select the thread to be used for
quilting. ⬇️
⑤Please prepare the backing fabric for the
quilt
⑥Please prepare quilt batting. I can provide it for you, but there is a charge for it.
⑦Do you need binding or not? Please ask me if
you need binding finishing. The price and
other information is below.
⑧If you give me your permission to use
images or videos of the quilting process,
please let me know

I will inform you of the date and time of your
reservation. If you are in a hurry, I will be
happy to make an appointment for you at an additional charge, Please make reservations
when the quilt top and backing fabric are ready.
Quilting Fee
The quilting fee for TypeA is⬇️
The length of the quilt top ✖️ width (cm) ✖️
0.75 yen.
This calculation will be charged a minimum fee of 7,500 yen, even if it is less than 7,500 yen.
TypeB is⬇️
The length of the quilt top ✖️ width (cm) ✖️
0.6 yen.
Even if this calculation is less than 6000 yen,
I will charge 6000 yen as the minimum fee.
C Option (extra charge)
If you do not find a design you like in Group A or Group B, I will choose another design.
If you cannot decide by yourself and would
like me to decide for you, I can also choose one for you after listening to your preferences. 1,000 yen will be charged per quilt top.
The quilting fee includes the cost of thread (100% polyester, imported from the U.S.A.
Notes: ⚠️
The size of quilt tops that can be quilted is for quilt tops with a short side of approximately
210 cm or less, *82inch
There is basically no limit on the longer sides. The quilt top must be rectangular or square in shape.
Please consult me for irregular or circular
shapes.
What you need to prepare
①Quilt top
Please cut the excess threads on the back
side of the quilt and remove thread scraps as
much as
possible. Iron the quilt top firmly.
If the quilt top has a top and bottom, please mark the top by attaching a note with a safety
pin.
If you do not mark it,it will be quilted regardless of whether it is up or down, left or right.
Decorated items such as buttons, sequins, ribbons, lace, organdie, etc. cannot be quilted.
Also, we may not be able to accept requests for fabrics other than quilting cotton, or fabrics with a lot of adhesive etc. Please consult with me
before making a request for quilting.
②Quilt batting
Please prepare the quilt batting size with an excess of 10cm or more each around the quilt top.
Any kind of quilt batting is acceptable. You can also use several pieces joined together, but please join them together by yourself.
I can also provide natural quilt cotton, wool blend, bamboo, organic cotton, thick polyester bathing
Quilt batting prices
Wool blend, bamboo, and organic cotton quilt batting are used in 2.4 meter widths.
For a quilt batting 60% wool and 40% polyester → 3000yen per meter
Bamboo quilt batting→ 32000yen per meter
Organic cotton quilt batting → 2800 yen per meter
Example 1m✖️1m of quilt top needs,
1.2m✖️1.2m quilt batting is required.
So, for example, if it is organic cotton,
1.2m✖️2,670🟰3204 yen, and I will be happy
to send you the unused portion
100% polyester quilt cotton is also available.
This is pre-cut and available in size 2✖️2.5m size, 3000yen
I cannot accommodate quilt top sizes larger
than this.
Any excess will be sent along.
③Backing
Please add 10 cm extra on each of the four
sides than the size of the quilt top
Example.
For a quilt top of 1m✖️1m
The size of backing fabric required is 120 cm✖️120 cm. It should be the same size as the
quilt
batting.
If several pieces of backing fabric are pieced
together, the seam allowance should be
opened and ironed.
Please be sure to cut the backing fabric into
squares or rectangles.
I cannot handle non-cotton fabrics such as
fleece and minky.
If the backing fabric also has a top, bottom,
left and right side, please mark them.
Please send each of these (quilt top, backing,batting)folded separately.
(Do not make 3 layers, Do not make a quilt sandwich)
Shipping costs
Shipping costs to and from
Ibaraki Prefecture are to be borne by the customer.
I will send it by Yamato Takkyubin. Please
pay the shipping fee upon arrival.
I will use reused and recycled packing
materials for delivery.
Payment Method
I will contact you when the quilting is complete and payment is due at that time.
I accept payment by bank transfer to
Yucho-bank *post office
Please note that bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
I will send the item back to you upon
confirmation of payment.
Binding (optional for those who need it)
I also accept binding requests.
I do everything from making binding tapes to
installing all bindings.
I will make the double binding tapes for you,
so please send me the length of fabiric
Batting fee
Attach both sides (one side will be sewn on
a longarm sewing machine and the other side will be sewn on a domestic machine)
Binding tape length
Up to 4 meters → 8000yen
Up to 6 meters → 10000yen
up to 8 meters → 12000yen
up to 10 meters → 14000yen
Binding service is not available for quilts with
curves or quilts with many corners (such as
hexagons).
Thread will be selected from binding tape or
color that matches the quilt top.
Other
Rates are subject to change, so please
check back each time.
I will take about 3 days for each quilt top (plus 2.3 days if binding work is also requested).
