The five instructors of Washocook Tokai take turns teaching Japanese cooking classes once a month.

This month was my turn and four people attended my class.

   ◇Art sushi roll with tuna

   ◇Pressed sushi with salmon

   ◇Mashed tofu salad

   ◇Japanese clear soup of steamed shrimp dumpling

   ◇Pickled cucumber with salted koji

   ◇Raindrop jelly

   ◇Basic dashi stock

 

 

There were some dishes that the participants said they had eaten but had never made, and they were interested in them.

 

 

They said that the art sushi roll was easier than they thought.

When the colorful pressed sushi was completed, the participants cheered.

 

 

They were very enthusiastic because they wanted to make them at home as well.
