flyのつく単語

I go to the other circle on every Thursday. We talked about last week. The teacher talked about firefly. Firefly is Hotaru in Japanese. The teacher is from India. She has cought some fireflies by hand in India. I’m envy her. I went to see the firefly two years ago, but there were not much fireflies. I want to go somewhere to see many fireflies this year. By the way, I look up firefly after came back home. I found three words, housefly, butterfly, dragonfly. 👍 

毎週木曜日にもう１つの英語サークルに行ってるのです。先週のことについてしゃべるんだけど、先生がホタルについて話したのよね〜。firefly ってホタルのことなのね😓先生はインド人です。インドでは手でホタルを捕まえたりしたんだって。いいなぁ。

私も2年前かな？ホタル見に行ったんだけど、たくさんはいなかった。今年はたくさんのホタルを見たいなぁ。なんて思うこの頃。

ところで、帰って来てからホタルについて調べましたよ。そして、３つの単語を見つけました。

ハエ、蝶々、トンボ。勉強になったわ👍

And then, I asked her “what is your favorite food in India “. She said “Briyani”. 

This is briyani. She said it’s better long type rice. It’s not suited for Japanese rice. Because Japanese rice is chewy and tender.  

 それから、彼女にインド料理で何が好き？と聞いたらbriyaniだって。彼女いわく、長いお米が合うらしい。日本米はもちもちしてるから合わないって。チャーハンみたいな感じかな？
