女性アスリートは、たとえばオリンピックなどの競技大会に出場するに際して、どのような化粧品を持っていくのか。

みたいなことを紹介した記事の中に、こんな英文があった:

　Weitzeil relies on its arsenal of products, from the cleanser and toner to the SPF 30 moisturizer and acne medication.

　（ワィツィールは洗顔ローションや化粧水から SPF 30 保湿剤やニキビ薬にいたるまで、さまざまなものを用意しています）

その英文の cleanser という語の発音は [クレンザー] だとは知っていたが、"洗剤" のことだと思っていた。

Cambridge Dictionary [cleanser] を見ると

　a substance used for cleaning, especially your face:

　（特に顔の洗浄に用いられるもの）

とあった。

"洗剤" のことだけでなく、"洗顔ローション" のことも cleanser というらしい。
