タイThai Festibal's been held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.

There are many shops there, we enjoyed strolling and shopping. I bought some mangos and mangostins. These fruits are cheaper than those in supermaket. The man at shop selected for me the nice fruits which I could eat them the next day. He told me that I should keep them under room temperature to get ripe. The next day I enjoyed the enough ripe mangoぺこ

We found a interesting thing there. It is Soap carvingガーベラ. Soap carving is one of handicrafts and is made by creating sculpture from a bar of soap刀.

Thailand's been under very tough situation because of its politics. There are many people who were killed there, it includes one Japanese. While I was seeing the live performance, which was the Thai traditional dancing, on the stage there, I hope the conflict would end as soon as possible虹

One day I went to a clinic to check my allergen. One month later I got the result. I got shocked at itガックリ One of my allergen is cowmilkおうし座 I don't like milkMILK, so it doesn't matter to quit milk. But I love yoghurtブルガリアヨーグルト and cheeseチーズ Can I quit them at all? Another allergen is egg. I love eggegg. I don't like meatソーセージ, so egg is one of my animal protein resources. Can I quit it at all, too? And what's more I have allergy to robster, yeast, too. In particular, the allergic score of yeast and egg are very high, and I'm a liitle allergic to weat flour! Therefore, I have to quit bread食パン and pastaパスタ OMG. There are many nice Italian restaurants in Singapore. We often have lunch or dinner at an Italian restaurant. I love Italian dishesイタリア

Actually I regreted taking the allergic test. Ignorance is blissシラー Now I manage to avoid egg, yeast, cowmilk etc. whenever possible. Sometimes I don't care it. Now I'm taking the supplements from my doctor. These are lactic acid and Omega-3 fatty acid. Before that I'd already started to take Omega-3 because I heared it was good for skin and brain.

The human body can't synthesize Omega-3. I mostly use it as a salad dressing. My hubby eats it with bread. Why is it good for Allergy? One of the reasons is to reduces inflammation. I hope it will improve my bodyアップ

When I started to live in Singaporeシンガポール国旗, I decided to resist the temptation to watch Japaneseにほん TV programmes in order to improve my English. So my hubby and I didn't subscribe NHK World Premium. My favortite channel is Discovery Travel and Living. There are lots of programmes about worldwide cooking and culture.

My favorite one is Jamie At Home. The cook is Jamie Oliver男の子 He's cooking as he talked casually. He orten says, "Lu A The! (=Look at that)" I love hearing his talk and watching his performance. He is not only a celebrity chef but also a food revolutionistメラメラ He had been worried about poor school meal in the UK, so he challenged to change the school meal better a few years ago. When I watched the DVD about it, I'm terribly shocked at the fact叫び The school meals are full of junk food like Pizza, Chicken nuggets. There are no fresh vegetables and fruits. Jamie complained that he didn't want kids drink sugary milk and eat processed food any more. Poor kidsむっ

Now he had the same movement in the USA too. It seemed very difficult to fulfill his idea, but he never gave up. I really admire him.

Unfortunately I can't understand the all what Jamie is talking during his programmes so far. What a shame汗 I wonder when the day I can understand him well comes. It must take me so long time得意げ

What a coincidence!

I found the article about the food revolution in the USA in a Japanese newspaper!!

According to the article, Jamie's TV programme " Food Revolution" had high audience ratings and the movement for improving school meals has been spreading over th USA graduallyクラッカー

The article introduced another movement, too. It's "locally produced and consumed"ぶどう

Mrs Obama created an organic garden named "Victory Garden" for self-sufficiency at the White House about one year ago and recently she's expanded it more. The movement of kichen garden has been boosting more and more now. That's great! Eat healty and more activeチョキ
