It is obvious that many of you try to translate/interpret English into Japanese when you read or listen to it.
皆さんの多くが、英語を読んだり聞いたりするする際、翻訳或いは通訳を試みるのは、目に見えて明らかです。
This is a HUGE no-no if you try to understand it instantly.
これは、瞬時に理解しようとする時、とても大きな間違いです。
You are using extra, unnecessary processing power and time in doing so.
あなた方は、余計で不必要な処理能力とそれにかかる時間を使っています。
For example, suppose you read or hear the following sentence.
例えば、以下の文章を読んだり、聞いたりするとしましょう。
"I will keep this article short for I do not have much time today."
Just attempt to understand as you read the words or hear them.
ただ、読みながら、聞きながら理解していくようにしてみましょう。

will （つぎにくる動詞原形を未来にする）
keep しておく
this この
article きじを
short 短く
for というのも
I 私は、
do not （次に来る動詞が現在、否定）
have 持たない
much （否定語をともなって、あまり）
time 時間を
today. 今日
You would understand this without actually put this sentence into gorgeous Japanese, wouldn't you?
素晴らしい日本語に訳さなくても、これでわかるでしょう？
Most of Japanese students stop me while I am speaking English rejecting to understand me any further then try to put what you hear into Japanese.
日本人の学習者のほとんどは、私が英語を話している途中で、私を止め、それ以上理解することを拒否し、 それから、聞いたことを日本語にしようとします。
Understanding what you hear as you hear it might pose some discomfort for you because you want to confirm your understanding.
理解できているかを確認したいため、英語を聞きながらそれを理解していくことは、皆さんにとって居心地の悪いことかもしれません。
Please overcome this discomfort.
この居心地の悪さを、克服して下さい。
By the same token, speak/write English as you see above.
同様に、話したり、書いたりするときも、上で習ったようにして下さい。
Your brain is used for this acrobatic processing. Do not waste your time.
