Q: Before this, we knew you as an idol from a Korean boy-band, but today you came here as Jay Park. What is the big different between then and now?
Jay: I think now I can choose the style of the music, as well as the type of dance and song that I really want to do, and to perform them in my style more as compared to the past.
(Q: What's your music style?) It's kinda more modern and hip-hop. I also like to B-boy.

But after I uploaded my video on YouTube, it garnered around 2 million views in just a few days. It was unbelievable to know that lot of people know me. I think people enjoy my video. I asked my friends to join me so that my fans and family can enjoy my videos.

Jay: Yes, I think Twitter, YouTube and other social-networks has helped me to update my fans frequently. I think if fans want to know about me, they should know everything from me. So both Twitter and YouTube are very good ways to keep in contact with my fans.

Actually, I do not want to share everything but I love sharing a part of of my life to the fans. I do so because my fans always give me such great support and in return, I share about my life because I'm so thankful for them. I'd love to share the good things and make them proud of me.

Q: How much attention do you pay to the rumors that your hear about yourself?
Jay: To be honest, rumors or things that had happened in the past do not impact me much. Everything happens for a reason and I did my best, so I'll just keep walking my way.

Jay: Things that brought me through my difficult times were; being with my family, the support from the fans and dancing a lot. I have so much passion in dancing and fans give me really great support. Lately, they have been sending their support to me via mail and the internet.

Whenever I hear the music on, I just want to come out and perform. If it's not because of the fans' support, I think I'd give up by now; so I'm here today because of all my fans.

Q: What was the reason that made you accept the offer to be casted as an actor in the movie "Hype Nation"?
Jay: To be honest, it was just because I wanted to showcase my dancing and relax. I asked if my friends (AOM) could join in the casting of the movie; if they are casted, I'll take up the offer. They agreed, and that was the reason I accepted the offer.

Q: How do you prepare yourself for the "Darkness" role (in "Hype Nation")?
Jay: My friends and I read all the scripts with the other actors and practiced dancing for about 1 week, and shot for around 3-4 weeks. My part is done but I'm not sure if they've already finish shooting for the whole movie now.

Jay: Umm actually, I don't have much plans about my album. I've finished recording some of them in both English and Korean. I will also be writing 3 songs in Korean. I think it will be a mini album
that I will promote in Korea, and in the near future maybe in the US, but we have to wait and see. I don't know the exact the date and time on when my album's gonna be released.

Q: You're known as the famous guy who has a very great body. Do you have any tips?
Jay: Recently I don't have much time to take care of my body. I'm kinda lazy so I don't exercise much and I also eat a lot of pizza. Before this I don't eat anything after 8pm and I exercise at least 1.5 or 2 hours a day. I also dance a lot and that helped me keep my body in good shape
