Is rice healthy for you? How did New Year's resolutions start? I'm continuing my mini cut phase and my detox program with this Cilantro Lime rice cream! Cilantro (Coriandrum sativum) is rich in vitamins A, C, E, K, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. It is famous to be of great help in detoxing the body from heavy metals like arsenic (level is high in the rice, unfortunately). Cilantro also has antioxidant properties and helps digestion, prevents gas and bloating. Arsenic is a common mineral that rice takes up from the soil* and water.. the worst is brown rice but... ——> Please note that Basmati rice is the lowest in arsenic! Note also that to minimize arsenic content of rice you can soak the rice before cooking it and cook it in a large amount of water, because this mineral is water soluble! For those who are worried about arsenic poisoning, a varied diet is recommended and could be the solution! Basmati rice was boiled with Coriander seeds.. delicious!!! Have you ever tried? If you like colorful rice, boil it half with turmeric powder and half with coriander seeds, so you will have a yellow and white plate! Ingredients: 15 g cilantro 5 g coriander seeds 10 g flaxseed 10 sunflower seeds 1 lime juice 3 drops of lemon essential oil Himalayan pink salt Black pepper 75 g basmati rice 410 Kcal (12 Protein, 62 Carbs, 12 Fat) *Heavy Metal Contamination of Soils: Monitoring and Remediation, author Irena Sherameti, Ajit Varma . . . . #GetHealthy #HealthyLife #HealthTalk #EatClean #ibsfriendly #lemonrice #GlutenFree #HealthyEating #HealthyRecipes #Nutrition #cilantro #homemade #GetFit #cilantrorice #YouCanDoIt #eatright #weightloss #NoExcuses #lchf #FitLife #movenourishbelieve #fittip #iquitsugar #healthyfoodporn #detox #eatcleangetlean #f52grams #heresmyfood #healthylifestyle #eatcleantrainmean
