2023年1月より
家族（バリキャリ妻と3歳娘）で
シンガポールに移住しました
ローです。
気が付くと4カ月経過しました。
ローカルプリスクールに通う娘は
シンガポールが楽しいと言ってます。
英語にも慣れて
先日オンライン英会話をしている私のレッスンに入ってきて
フィリピン人講師から
名前を聞かれてしっかり答え
もっていたアイスの色を聞かれて
しっかり「イエロー＆ピンク」と返答してました。
ヒアリング力も上がってます。
最近ではＩ want （名詞） とI want to（動詞）の違いが
分かってきているようで
しっかり使い分けてます
もう少しで3歳3カ月なのですが、
最近は機嫌がいいときは「もう赤ちゃんじゃない、おねえさんだから」と言って
自分でお着換えしたり、掃除を手伝ったりしてます
（掃除はモップを引きずり回してるだけですが）
親目線だと、3歳児が一番かわいいという人多いですが
ほんとその通りと思ってます。
因みに私は4月から週５（1日3時間）の語学学校に通って一ヶ月が経ちます。
自分の中では約20年前にアイルランドに1ヶ月語学学校行った時が（英語力）人生のピークだったと
思ってましたが
遂に学生時代の自分越えを成功させ
着実に英語力を伸ばしてます。
やはり現地語学学校に行ったのは正解でした。
友達もできて色々楽しいですね。
今のところ大きな病気・ケガもなくやっていけてることはなによりです

As of January 2023, my family (consisting of my career-driven wife, our three-year-old daughter, and myself) has relocated to Singapore. We have been living here for four months now. Our daughter, who attends a local preschool, says that she enjoys living in Singapore.
She has also become accustomed to speaking English and recently surprised me during one of my online English lessons when she correctly answered questions asked by a Filipino instructor about the color of her ice cream. Her listening skills have also improved, and she is now able to differentiate between "I want" (noun) and "I want to" (verb).
She will be turning three years and three months old soon, and she now enjoys asserting that she is not a baby anymore and that she is a big girl. She has even started to dress herself and help with cleaning (although she just drags a mop around). As her parent, I believe that three-year-olds are the cutest, and I could agree.
By the way, I have been attending language school five days a week (three hours a day) since April, and it has been a month now. Although I thought that the peak of my English language ability was 20 years ago when I attended a language school in Ireland, I have finally surpassed my student self and am steadily improving my English skills. Going to a language school in Singapore was the right decision, and I have been having fun making new friends.
So far, we have been fortunate enough to avoid any significant illnesses or injuries, and we are grateful for that. Thank you for reading this far, and until next time.
