This is Aya
Recently, when I am abserving the (soccer) practices, and repeatedly having meetings with coach members,
Something I felt really strongly is
That the children of FC Reale is truly fortunate!!!
And us as coaches are also truly fortunate because we are given much learning and joy from the children!!!
First time since we started FC Reale nearly 4 years ago,
we have conducted to do the selection of players
The policy of FC Reale is to give equal opportunity to every children
But in sports, when a player aim to become the best,
then it is inevitable to go through an experience to be selected
So we discussed with coach members
And decided to the first selection of the players !!!
This summer, we are inviting students and coaches from FC Reale Nepal
And by truly precious kindness, we are able to coordinate
an exchange camp with the NODA Racing Academy

At NODA Racing Academy, students are precisely aiming to become the professional driver
The school is designed to provide an education based on developing professional traits
Not only that
Training and school curriculum is teaching many important skills that can be effective when they enter the society
All the things that I wished Japanese education system can apply
This school is doing exactly the way I wanted !!!
That is why, we have scheduled to bring the children of FC Reale for three days
To learn in the same curriculum and live in the same lifestyle( the school is a boading school )
To enhance the awareness of becoming the professionals, to be self-conscious, to change their way of thinking
And most of all, to have the self motivated ambition , the desire to learn, to have the leadership
Hoping they could receive such influences,
We are very grateful to be able to make this happen by many people's support
But since we cannot bring all of our children
What we as Reale decided to do,
Is to
Select several players by coaches' decision
And make them write an essay, and make final decision by reading their proposals
First, when coaches called out names in front of all players
Such indescribable feeling I had
By observing the children's feelings when they were not selected
But when I think about my experiences in life
To be left out
And the experience
To be selected
It was an important moments that I went through in life
And we asked them to write essays
Those who are literate, and those who aren't
Those who wrote it thoughtlessly in little time they had
There are many things we can read from their writing
But
Having them write these essays
and to be able to hear their feelings
So much essays that really touches our heart!!!
Many children have wrote
"I will not forget thankfulness"
"I love Reale "
"I love soccer!"
" When I become the professional player, I want to pay back to the coaches who created Reale and people who are supporting us "
Honestly, there were many essays that made me cry
And probably other coaches too
But we have to choose few members from the group
We discussed until late night in the coach meeting
And the day of announcement
What I was very very happy !!!!
Was that, when the first person have been called out his name,
Other boy clapped really loudly !!!!
Then everyone else followed him !!!!
Not because they were told by the coach
But to be able to do such thing naturally !!!
Was such a blessing for me to see !!!
By doing this selection,
All the coach members were hoping to see
From those children who were not selected,
We wanted to hear their voice saying
" I want to go too !!!"
( In Japanese culture, we learn to respect the others and to show humbleness. so it is difficult to speak out our selfish opinion in such a serious atmosphere)
In my generation, my teachers and parents were very strict
So many times,
" Get out of here !!!"
" Go quit !!! "
Given such words
I was able to learn their feelings behind such words
Even when they turned their back on me, if it was something that I truly wanted to do,
Then I had to think " what is that I have to do "
Naturally, I was given the lesson to develop such traits
But the children in this generation,
when they are told
"No"
Then that is the end
when they are told,
" Impossible "
Then they give up
And mostly, when they are told "No" or " Impossible "
They do not know how to change the outcome
How to change other's feelings !
Even they are told not to come,
Or not to do,
The person they are dealing with has emotions
And they have to learn how to work on it so they can change the outcome
Or
They have to learn that outcome sometimes be different if they make a serious effort
That is what we wanted the children of Reale to know
Fortunately, all the coach members know this from their experiences !!!
And many coaches want the children to attain such toughness !
The best would be to have the children naturally learn these traits
But in recent generation, there are very few adults who would teach such lessons
So there are very little opportunity that they have
so I had the coaches to teach them
What coaches have been thinking about
How to express their feelings, the importance of making actions
How valuable it is to never give up
And
No matter what kind of situation it is
Even when the situation is conclusive
If the children's feeling is strong, and when he/she make serious effort according to his /her intention,
Such action has the power
The power to change even a conclusive situation
Children listened to the coach with serious and truly strong look in their eyes
In a single program of
Selection,
I would be very happy if Reale's children
can earn another lesson to attain the strength to live !!!
Also in regular practices,
Not only to teach soccer skills,
But the coach members are focusing to teach the children about
The strength to survive
The strength to continue the effort
The importance and the greatness of helping each other
Of course, the coaches are still searching how to teach
but
As an adult, as an human being,
They approach each children's heart with serious intentions!!!!
That is why I truly love this FC Reale
And these Reale's coach members and children are my pride !!!!
We want to continue to approach each step with sincere motivation!!!!
To continue FC Reale created by everyone's collaboration
And by many people's support
I will continue to make best effort!!!!
