Hi! I'm Teacher Dee

Hey there! My name is Daryle, but you can just call me Teacher Dee. I'm from the Bicol region in the Philippines, where the famous Mount Mayon stands tall, and where we love spicy food (a lot!).

I teach English and I've been doing it for over six years now, with students from all kinds of cultural backgrounds. I've taught kids, teens, adults—basically, anyone who wants to learn English. And honestly, it's been such a great ride.

What made me want to teach? I've always loved connecting with people and just being able to help out in any way I can. Teaching lets me do both. For me, the best part about being a teacher is when I get to see my students improve little by little, and when they open up and share their stories too. Sometimes, I even get to share a few of my own that I hope might help or inspire them.

Outside of teaching, I'm just a chill guy who enjoys playing guitar, cooking, watching movies, listening to music, and doing a little bit of card magic on the side! (Yes, I can make cards disappear and reappear—don't worry, no homework will vanish, I promise.)

One thing I always tell my students:
“Don't be scared to make mistakes—that's how we learn! Especially when learning English, it's okay to stumble. What matters is we keep trying and enjoy the process.”

I'm super excited to be part of your learning journey. Let's make it fun, meaningful, and full of 'aha!' moments.
