There is a part of President Zelensky's speech in the U.S. that we as a nation of Japan cannot ignore. The attack on Pearl Harbor was primarily for security reasons, as MacArthur later stated in a speech to the U.S. Congress. Japan, on the verge of death from economic sanctions, attacked military facilities in Hawaii in self-defense.
What should be compared to Russia's lawless genocide are the U.S. atomic bombings and the carpet bombings carried out in Japanese cities. The U.S. military dropped large numbers of incendiary bombs around the cities beforehand to start fires, and then bombed and shot upwind to steam-burn many innocent people. Lawyers filed this case at the Tokyo trial as well. However, Judge Webb rejected this appeal. We hope that President Zelensky's speech is also a fake.
Our country should not allow President Zelensky to address the Parliament. At the same time, however, our country should continue its humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
Because there is no doubt that the Russian Genocide is a crime against humanity.
