Romeo 1 HD lenses (4 types in total)

I tried attaching them to the Romeo 1.

These HD lenses have functionality similar to OAKLEY's PRIZM™ lenses.

This is my personal impression after using them, but the scenery looks quite clear with these lenses.

Especially when looking at the blue sky or sea, these lenses make the view very beautiful.

So, they are not just for reducing glare but also serve as specialized lenses focused on enhancing clarity of vision.

I highly recommend trying out these lenses as one of the variations from this perspective.

下矢印 I've also uploaded videos on YouTube, so please take a look.
You can get a better idea of the lens colors from the videos.

Actually, I'm quietly working hard on YouTube, so I would be very happy if you could subscribe to my channel! 😆😂

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing?

Can you believe it's already October, even though we're still feeling the summer vibes?

It's been a while since I last updated the blog. タラー

I've been quite busy with frame repairs during the summer, but things have calmed down a bit now, so I should be able to write more blog posts in the future.

Today, I'd like to give you an update on recent events and introduce some frames that were repaired or customized during the summer of this year.

I have a lot of images saved up, so I plan to introduce them in several posts over the coming weeks.

I hope you find them helpful as references for your own customizations, lens choices, and rubber parts selections.

But first, let me start with the recent update.

We've received a bunch of X-Squared frames.
(We also have a few Romeo 1 and Juliet frames in stock as well.)

We are refreshing these frames for sale.

Alternatively, some frames in good condition are available for purchase as they are, so please check out our shop for more details.

If you're interested in customizing these frames with IP gold or Cerakote, please contact us.

The frames are priced at around 65,000 yen in a super-refreshed, like-new condition (actual sales prices may vary depending on the condition of the frame).

*Due to the impact of the weak yen and increased rarity of the frames, the selling prices have slightly increased compared to before.

For sales, we want to ensure that we provide detailed information about the frames and maintain transparency. By purchasing frames from LINEGEAR, you can trust in reliability and quality assurance. We kindly ask for your understanding in this regard and encourage you to carefully consider purchasing by reading the product descriptions and watching the videos.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us in advance.

And NTX lens

I recently had a meeting with the folks from I.C. Japan to discuss creating new NXT lenses, while looking at lens samples.

It seems that green-based lenses have been trending lately.

"So, should we add green-based NXT polarized lenses?"

"Or maybe add photochromic lenses with red mirrors?"

"Or should we add a new color for polarized photochromic lenses?"

We're currently thinking while looking at samples.

下矢印 This is a sample where we added a slightly chic green mirror to a brown-based polarized photochromic lens.

I really like a mysterious color that resembles Emerald Iridium.

Moreover, with color enhancement, it has both anti-fog and the strongest scratch-resistant coating on both sides.

Also, the lens with the center of the image has a red mirror on a sky clear lens. 下矢印

  • Indoors, it will be like ruby clear,
  • And outdoors, it will transition to the Red mirror.

Indeed, without the red mirror transition, this could also be good. But I'm thinking it might be a bit sparkly and dazzling.

Though not immediately, I'm considering a pace that could launch it by the winter sale.

Once it's firmly decided, I'd like to introduce it on the blog, so please wait a while.

Also, regarding the NXT polarized photochromic lenses currently sold out, I expect them to be restocked around the end of November.

Due to issues like the coronavirus and the Ukraine-Russia problem, the restocking process hasn't been as smooth as expected. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay, but please bear with us a little longer.

Additionally, this is more of an update or a frame introduction, but it could be considered news.

Penny Copper.

The frame belonging to the customer came to LINEGEAR the other day for a tune-up.

The serial number is PC#####

The lenses are VR28 Black Iridium (silver mirror on a brown base).

It's quite rare, isn't it?

Actually, it was my first time seeing it in person too.

After a thorough tune-up, it returned to its owner.

In the long course of doing repairs, there are also such interesting occurrences.

Additionally, sometimes unique frames customized by customers arrive, which makes the repair work enjoyable as well.

Now, let me introduce some frames.

These are frames that underwent tune-ups, repairs like Cerakoting, etc., at LINEGEAR in the first half of this year.

I'll proceed mainly with images.

<Juliet X-Metal>

Hammer Stem びっくり

It may seem ordinary, but it's actually a frame with extreme attention to detail, isn't it?

To make just one of these, you have to transplant the stem from either a Romeo 1 or XX, so it's quite a task, you know. 照れ
As for the X-Metal Juliet with the hammer stem, I personally want one for myself. ラブ

Nice!

<Juliet Polished>

The lenses are Fire, and the rubber parts are Green.

With a combination of vibrant colors, it looks cool, doesn't it?

Even when displayed, it catches the eye with its striking colors, making it enjoyable to look at.

On the shiny polished frame, bold colors like yellow and green match perfectly without any sense of the differences.

Juliet Polished

The lenses are matte indigo, and the rubber parts are violet.

And the temple screws are gold as a distinctive feature. 照れ

The combination of matte lenses and violet is a perfect match.  グッ

  __________________________________________________________________________________________

<Juliet Plasma>

A classic among classics, Plasma with black rubber parts and deep ice blue, it's a perfect match after all.  照れ
This is exactly the same combination as the original.

The lenses are prescription Ice.

Hmm, when I see this, I think it's good to customize it and express individuality,

On the other hand, it also makes me think it might be good to casually master the original image as it is.

It was a very beautiful plasma frame. グッ

<Cerakote Juliet>

This is a Juliet with a glossy black custom straight stem coated with Cerakote.

The lenses are violet, and the rubber parts are white.

You're creating a nice atmosphere, aren't you?

The glossy black Cerakote gives the impression of polished carbon, creating a different atmosphere from the carbon itself, so I recommend it.

<Cerakote & IP Gold Juliet>

Since I think a little explanation is necessary, let me write in detail.

The orbitals are coated with Cerakote in glossy black, while the nose pads and arms are in IP gold, creating a smooth combination of gold and black.

This frame is TOMY-san's Juliet, well-known for its meticulous customization, which has often appeared in this blog.

Due to the time required for the IP gold finishing, it took over six months from conception to realization.

The rubber parts are black, except for the ear socks.

The other components (temple shocks, gaskets, nose pads) are white.

The balance between the black orbitals and the white components turned out nicely, don't you think?

The nose pins are silver.

As for the lenses...

Matte lenses in indigo.

It's a bit hard to see, but there are also engravings. 下矢印

And furthermore,

Side blinders...

The subtle blueness of the lenses is quite effective, isn't it?

And the screws, both regular and orbital, are gold, showcasing the attention to detail in every part of this Juliet.

Looking forward to your next idea.

I'm glad I could contribute another piece to your collection. 下矢印下矢印

How many do you have in total? LOL 😂 It's really surprising!

Well, everyone, try counting. 🚀

Well, it's clear that the Juliet model offers so much potential and charm for customization, right? 😳

I started writing, and it ended up being just about Juliet, but oh well. 😅

Next time, I'd like to share images and write about other frames like Romeo 1 or Mars.

For now, let's call it a day.

I'll write again soon.

Well then, excuse me.
