いつもご支援いただきまして本当にありがとうございます。
この度は、皆さまに大切なお知らせがあります。
2014年5月末をもって、ラジオ番組 TIGER LILY WAVE は最終回を迎えます。私自身で熟考を重ねた末に大きな決断をしました。
2011年4月より10分間番組『りりぃの世界一周ラジオ』としてスタートし、後に TIGER LILY WAVE として30分番組となり、毎週日本語と英語のバイリンガル番組としてお届けしてまいりました。
このラジオ番組を通して、通訳者としての自分自身とより深く向き合うこととなり、通訳の世界観をどのようにラジオを通して表現できるかどうか、常に考えてきました。この経験なくしては現在のような形で通訳業に専念することは不可能だったと心から信じています。
TIGER LILY WAVE としてスタートをきってからは特に、リスナーの皆様からのメッセージやリクエストをいただき、また公開収録を経験させていただくことでリスナーの皆様と直接お会いできる貴重な機会を頂きました。通訳者として自分自身の核となる真実を見つめるときには、常にこの経験が自身を大きく支えてくれました。ただただ感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
この度ラジオ番組から身を引く決断をしましたのは、自分自身の生き方に大きな変化を迎えたことが一番大きな理由です。通訳業という仕事とは直接関係のないように思われることですが、私の人生を包括し核となる部分を担う重要なものであると私は思っています。自分自身のこれまで歩んできた道、現在の自分自身について、そしてこれからの自身の生きたかたについて、しばらくじっくり向き合うこととなります。
具体的な理由をお話できないこと、本当に申し訳ありません。
全てが完了し、そのタイミングが来ましたら何らかの形でご報告させていただきます。その時までは国内でのメディア活動を自粛いたします。
今回は期限未定でのラジオ番組休止となりますが、適切な時を迎えた際には必ずラジオ番組へカムバックしたいと考えております。その時には必ず、よりパワーアップした TIGER LILY として番組をお届けします。
重ねまして、この３年間本当にありがとうございました。どんな言葉を使ったらこの感謝の気持ちを伝えることができるのか、思い当たりません。

Dear my listeners and fans of TIGER LILY WAVE,
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude for your kindness and continued support as always. Today, I have something very important to tell you as an official announcement.
I’ve made a very big decision that I’m going to resign from radio DJ of “TIGER LILY WAVE” as of the end of May 2014. I came to this conclusion after my deep deliberation by myself.
In April 2011, “Round-the-World Radio with Lily” just began and after some while “TIGER LILY WAVE” made a fresh start as a 30-min bilingual program.
Through this precious experience as radio DJ, I’ve always reflected on myself and thought about myself being an interpreter. This work always gave me opportunities how to express my life work as interpreter through the radio broadcasting. Without this blessed challenge, I couldn’t have made it to pursue my career as interpreter as of now.
Especially, as TIGER LILY WAVE, I was so lucky enough to see the new world, receiving messages and questions from my lovely listeners and always having so much fun answering your questions over the radio. I had some lovely chances to meet my great listeners and fans at public radio show recordings. I’d had no idea how much I was loved by you all! Many hugs and kisses
All these things I had and walked with you have always supported me warmly and I have no idea how to express my true appreciation to you all. No words cannot express my feeling correctly yet. Thank you all, thank you very very much for everything. I’ve come to this turning point to think about my life in a different new way seriously.
One of the biggest reasons why I resign from radio DJ is quite personal and this is something that changes my way of living dramatically and positively. It seems that it’s not related to my career as interpreter, however this means a lot to my life to consider my past, present, and future in earnest. I must have a certain period of time to confront myself in various manners to discover who I really am.
I apologize you that I cannot tell you what kind of thing is exactly the true reason, but I’d like to report to you at the very best timing after everything is over and settled. Until then, I refrain myself from doing any show business or activities.
However, I’m taking this opportunity to take a break from this radio work for a while, and I’m sure to come back to you as radio DJ when everything is completed and I get ready. I promise you that I’ll come back to you as even more powerful and stronger TIGER LILY.
