本日のヘンな英語は間違っているわけではないのです。
ただそこはかとなくヘンなだけでして。
ですからもし当該企業の方が読まれましても
あまりお気になさいませんように。
本日ダイエーに行きましたところ、
キューピーのドレッシングの宣伝ムービーが
無限循環的に流れてましてね。
はじめは聞き流していたんですが、
段々聞こえてくるから大したものです。
そうこうしているうちに買いたくなってくる人が
出てくるというわけなのですね。
プロモーション戦略です。えらいことです。なるほどですね。
さて、段々耳についてきたドレッシングですが、
「キューピー テイスティドレッシング」
という名でして。
それってどう聞いても
Kewpie Tasty Dressing
つまり
「キューピー おいしいドレッシング」
としか聞こえないもんですから、
「うーんと、そうねー、これまでマズイドレッシングばっか作ってきたけど、
そろそろこのへんでおいしいのも出す？出しちゃう？？」
とか言って開発されたのだろうか？
どんな会社やねん、あんたら？？
しかも、今まではおいしく作っていなかったことを （って、そう聞こえるだけですよ）
隠すどころか、あからさまに：
「おいしい （今回は）」
などと公言してはばからないとは・・・。
大胆不敵企業、キューピー。
と、妄想が膨らんだ挙句、企業理念フレーズを作ってあげるところまで
行ってしまった筆者だったことでございます。
そうですね、1回も頼まれてないですけど、もっといいネーミングを考えてあげますと：
キューピー ドレッシング・スペシアリテ
Kewpie Dressing de la Spécialité
ですとかが、おシャーではないかと。
これだと 「他のもおいしいんだけど これは特別おいしいの。」
という感じでございますが、え？”お呼びでない” ？
ですよねですよね。
失礼しました。

your products to that date were all untasty (sounds like it, not true!) is
kept quiet about, and named it:
"Tasty (this time)"??
A daring company, Kewpie.
My mind went on and on like above until I made this corporate philosophy phrase for them.
Although they never even once asked me to do this for them,
I will think of some better name. Hmmm, yes;

Stylish, isn't it?
This way people can see that while other Kewpie dressings are tasty,
this is specially tasty. What? I'm not welcome?
