海外ドラマ『フラッシュ』のシーズン3の第17話『デュエット』の回で、バリーがアイリスに歌った曲です。
この『デュエット』のストーリーは、ミュージカル仕立てになっていて、あの『ラ・ラ・ランド』の音楽プロデューサー(？)が手がけたとか…
『Runnin´ home to you』も、『フラッシュ』のこのエピソードのためにオリジナルで作られたそう。
本当に素敵な曲で、『フラッシュ』のストーリーの背景と重ね合わせて聴くと、泣けてきます😢
