ホワイトデーのケーキ white day cake
My husband got some cakes from here for White Day
この間。。。ハニーはここでホワイトデーのケーキを買った。。。
I wondered if I should post the pix or not
写真を載せる。。。載せない。。。。。。。。。すごい悩んだ
My husband said "well if you post it......all the women who did not get anything from their boyfriend or husband....will really give their boyfriend/husband a hard time"
ハニー言ってたのは。。。皆の旦那さんが可哀そう。 もらっていない奥さんは。。。きっと旦那さんに文句を言う。。。そして、可哀そう、大変
I said...well, Japanese men better learn to shape up and show more appreciation
けど。。。私思っているのは。。。日本人の男性は。。。そろそろ感謝を伝えるの頑張らなきゃ
But......it's not only Japanese men.
あああ、けど日本人の男性だけじゃない

Some of my friends (with non-Japanese husbands) only got flowers or presents from their husband because they forced them to
日本人の男性と結婚していない友達。。。旦那に命令したからお花をもらった
Long ago I posted on my blog...a picture of some flowers that honey had given me
大分前、ハニーからもらったお花の写真をブログに載せた
And my friend, seeing it......complained to her husband, "hey! you never gave me flowers"
私の友達。。。その写真を見て、旦那に文句を言った”あなたから。。。お花なんてもらったことない！”
After that, he bought her a really beautiful arrangement
その後、彼は彼女に。。。すごい素敵な花束を買った。
I was glad to hear that my friend spoke up
友達は旦那さんに言って良かった
Some ladies won't speak up and tell their husband
ある女性は。。。黙ってて、旦那に言わない
And over time...I wonder if under-appreciation leads to loss of love...or even worse...building up of resentment?
感謝の気持ちを伝えないと。。。愛は。。。段々なくなるかしら。。。それとも。。。もっと酷い場合は。。。恨みがたまる？

This shop is one of the most famous cake shops around the area
このお店は。。。地元のけっこ有名なお店
Everyone knows it
皆は知っている
And it is a great place to buy sweets as a souvenir
お土産用のスイーツへここで買えばいい
But on White Day...the place was incredibly packed
ＷＨＩＴＥＤＡＹ．．．すごい混んでいたみたい
The line for cookies and chocolate was suuuuuper long
クッキーとチョコの列は。。。すごかったみたい
But the line for cakes was short...so we got cakes. Yeah!
ケーキの列は。。。短かったので、ケーキを買ってくれた。 ヤホ！
I had the chocolate cake...it was as rich as an American cake
私は。。。チョコケーキを食べた。。。 アメリカのケーキと同じぐらい重くて、濃かった！
Like two Debbie brownies...with fudge inside
アメリカのＤＥＢＢＩＥブランドブラウニーみたい。。。中は。。。生チョコみたい
It was death by chocolate
チョコだらけ。。。。。。チョコの天国に行ってしまいました
So heavy, so filling.......
重くて、どっしり
Regardless, I could finish it without much effort!
それでも簡単に食べられた
Basically I don't like overly sweet cakes...but this one was an exception
普段甘すぎケーキを好きじゃないけど。。。これは。。。以外だった。。
