【poem】God of Sensibility

Within human sensibilities, God resides,

Seeing thousands, millions, billions of times.

Within human sensibilities, love resides,

Hearing thousands, millions, billions of times.

Within human sensibilities, unity resides,

Knowing thousands, millions, billions of times.

The God responding to sensibilities,

Moves human fingers to write poetry.

The love responding to sensibilities,

Moves human fingers on the piano to sing of love.

The unity responding to sensibilities,

Drives humans to seek themselves in others.

It may seem meaningless,

And yet it is profoundly meaningful.

Life itself holds no inherent meaning,

But in that very absence of meaning lies its meaning.

Contradictions blanket this world,

A vast and incomprehensible force.

Oh, you, love the contradictions.

When you learn to embrace even contradictions,

You will come to understand

The vast love that envelops this world.
