Tag League Results 1st Half
RED GODDESSES
Hazuki [葉月] & Koguma [コグマ] as "FWC" and Maika [舞華] & HANAKO as "Mai High Mate" both lead with 8 points. However, "Mai High Mate" have not lost, while FWC fell in one. That one loss in FWC's record was from Syuri [朱里] & Saki Kashima [鹿島沙希] which currently is the shortest match in the league with the length of 11 seconds. FWC and Syuri did also have match bookings in OZ Academy hours later in Yokohama. No time limit draws have occured so far in this block.
BLUE GODDESSES
Natsupoi & Saori Anou as "Natsu & Saori" are leading the Blue Goddesses block with 9 points and a record of 4 wins, 1 loss, and a draw. Only Momo & Thekla as "H.A.T.E. Supreme" and current Goddess Of Stardom champions have not been defeated or drew with anyone.
HIGH SPEED MAIN EVENTS
Mei Seira successfully defended the High Speed title against Yuna Mizumori on the 27th of October (V2). Yunamon really surprised a lot of people with her high-speed performance especially with someone like Mei who is a complete speed star.
HOMECOMING SPECIALS
The Fukuoka native trio of Maika, Hazuki, and Koguma (Fukuoka Triple Crazy/FTC) had their special homecoming trios match in the main event on the 2nd of November against Mayu Iwatani, Saya Iida, and HANAKO.
While on the main event of the 11/04 show in Miyazaki, Suzu Suzuki had her own special homecoming singles match against her fellow stablemate AZM [あずみ].
Historic X-Over II
G1 Climax & 5STAR Yūshō versus Masks
Zack Sabre Jr. (G1 Climax 2024 winner) & Maika [舞華] (5STAR GP 2024 winner) will face off against Starlight Kid [SLK] and a returning El Desperado.
This will be a heavyweight vs junior heavyweight contest based on the composition. El Desperado & SLK teamed up before in the previous Historic X-Over and remained close since then. Despy himself also booked a mixed tag match against SLK in his own produce show back in June.
The winners of the big summer tournaments have never teamed up nor been in the same ring before. A superb technician and an alcoholic powerhouse sounds to me like a deadly combo from the jump. They already be vibing with the drinks too. We just have to see if they will gel well in the ring.
IWGP ROAD
Mayu Iwatani's [岩谷麻優] next challenger in the IWGP road will be Momo Watanabe [渡辺桃].
As Momo hits her 10th anniversary as a pro-wrestler, she intends to finally surpass Mayu tonight.
Both have faced many times with Mayu even being her first opponent for a singles title shot back in 2016 for the High Speed title.
While Mayu is here not only to defend her name, but also to keep 2024 as her year, the concerns of Momo possibly cheating herself with the use of weapons or anyone from H.A.T.E. possibly interfering still lingers. That's why Mayu apparently has made her own "backup" plan to mitigate what could happen.
Since the presser, Momo has continued her relentless attacks on Mayu.
THEKLA-POI
Natsupoi [なつぽい] will team up with Taichi [タイチ] against Thekla [テクラ] & Clark Connors [クラーク・コナース] in a special mixed tag match. This came to be after Thekla summoned Connors to spear Natsupoi out of nowhere back in October leading up to Nagoya Golden Fight. That match itself was supposed to not involve any interferences as promised by Thekla herself beforehand as a tactic to trick Poi into fully trusting her.
Despite the emotional damage, Natsupoi still successfully defended the Wonder Of Stardom title in Nagoya. Thekla was then sidelined with an injury to her right arm, leaving her out of action for a month.
Thekla made her return on the 10th and attacked Poi backstage with her casted arm.
The day after, Thekla got the upper-hand by getting the three count on Poi once more in their tag league match. Thekla tried to bring the good ol' surprise before the rest of H.A.T.E. and Cosmic Angels started brawling (with STARS also joining in).
On the 13th, Poi and Taichi trained together in the STARDOM dojo in preparation. Their practice mostly centered around combating Connors' spear.
KOPW
In the press conference, GOK freely made Suzu choose the stipulation for their match. Usually, the champion and challenger write down a stipulation of their own and this will be decided through a fan vote. Suzu proposed for a hardcore match (ハードコアマッチ) and was calmly accepted by O-Khan who even promised to not use a weapon himself to give her a chance. Completely underistimating her.
NEW BLOOD WEST 2
NB TAG
DEVIL/PRINCESS (Rina [吏南] & Azusa Inaba [稲葉あずさ]) made their 2nd defense of the New Blood tag titles against Ranna Yagami & Lady C in the main event. Rina and Azusa will continue to hunt the "old hags".
NEW ROOKIE
STARDOM's newest rookie Matoi Hamabe [浜辺纏] (19) had her debut match with a loss to Hanan [羽南].
She first appeared on the 10th in her hometown of Chiba [千葉]. Matoi has a background in judo with experience in high school prefectural tournaments. Her own father got her interested into New Japan Pro Wrestling and eventually joined STARDOM last April right after graduating from high school. She admires the likes of Syuri for their power and Starlight Kid for their speed. Her first goal is to aim for the Future Of Stardom championship.
Matoi also had a public sparring exhibition against trainer Milano Collection A.T. on the 11th.
FORMER IDOLS
JTO's Misa Kagura [神姫楽ミサ] & Sumika Yanagawa [柳川澄樺] as "1111" defeated Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara in a tag match. Kagura got on the mic and called out Tam to face her in anywhere despite acknowledging the gap between their prowess as a wrestler. Tam replied back by saying that Kagura needs to earn it. She also acknowledged their past as former colleagues in an idol group. Kagura doesn't want to fight the "wrestler" Tam, but the "real human" Tam.
EVO JOSHI x STARDOM
The fire between the Evo girls and STARDOM hasn't cooled down. Both Chi Chi and ZONES talking more trash towards STARDOM talent especially HANAKO for not being strong enough despite pinning Rian and their recent loss in their home turf. Aya Sakura came out from backstage then fired off on Chi Chi. This lead to a scuffle between Chi Chi, Aya, ZONES, and HANAKO.
Chi Chi wants to beat Sakura again soon. Last time they fought in singles competition, Chi Chi beat Sakura in the final of SENDAI GIRLS' JaJa Uma tournament.
RECENT STORIES
TAM ROAD PAINTED BLACK
During the Korakuen Hall [後楽園ホール] show on the 11th, Kamitani pinned Tam to get the win in their tag league match. Afterwards, Saya made her next intentions clear. She wants to steal everything away from Tam as a consequence of the tragedy from last year's 5STAR when her left elbow got disclocated during their opening match. The plan to win the 5STAR and take the red belt in last year's DREAM QUEENDOM completely vanished and derailed her.
Tam hasn't forgotten about it any of this herself as she already made promises to Kamitani recently to make up for it. The statements she's been making about bringing Kamitani back on the right track did not resonate well with her.
Saya still has her sights on Kurara as well.
Tam accepted the challenge and went for a handshake, but was instead met with an onslaught.
Spraying Tam's face with black spray paint to top it all off.
The road to Ryogoku has begun.
THE TIGER BITES BACK
On the 10th, Starlight Kid managed to get a 3 count on Natsupoi during a 4-way match after stealing it away from Rina. With victories against Hazuki and now Natsupoi, the pieces to setup another chance for the White Belt after failing to win it back in February against Saori Anou [安納サオリ].
As both got close with Poi now holding up the White belt, Rina bumped herself in between them as she made her way out of the ring. Now attracting attention in the white belt division.
Previously, Rina got a clean pin on SLK in their tag league match on the November 2nd.
WILDHEART VERSUS THE CEO
Hazuki [葉月] will be facing Mercedes Mone for the NJPW Strong Women's Championship on December 15 in for NJPW's Strong Style Evolved show in Long Beach, California.
The Wildheart got this title shot after winning the women's 4-way on the 8th in NJPW's Fighting Spirit Unleashed show against Koguma, Anna Jay, and Trish Adora.
Mone made a surprise appearance and confronted Hazuki to remind that she's "the greatest of all time". Hazuki responded back by stating that the belt will be hers.
From there, they started trading blows which ended with Mone giving Hazuki a backstabber.
They have fought before back in April of 2023 for the IWGP Women's title in a 3-way contest with AZM. Mone walked away victorious.
