ノースビーチ地区にあるピザやパスタが食べられるお店

ノースビーチ地区のリトルイタリーにあるので、他のイタリア料理と同じようなお店と思っていたのですが、ウェブサイトを見ると、こちらは、
シカゴスタイル と デトロイトスタイルのピザ
をメインにしているお店みたいです
シカゴスタイルというと、
私のイメージでは、割とパイに近いイメージ？で大きいピザで、
これはディープディッシュピザというみたいですが、
他にも色々なスタイルがあるようです。
一方で、デトロイトスタイルのピザというと、長方形で、こちらも分厚い生地という印象。
正直デトロイトスタイルは知らなかったので、ピザを実際に見た後に知りました。
デトロイトスタイルは高温度でシカゴスタイルよりは短い時間で、シカゴスタイルは低めの温度で30分以上かけて焼くみたいです。
Capo'sは、コロナ禍になる前に行ったことがあり、いつも店内が賑わっていて、予約しないと待ち時間が長かったです。
ピザをメインにしているお店とは知らず、その時はパスタを注文
注文後に、周りを見ると、多くの人がピザを注文していることに気がつきました
パスタが美味しかったので、次はピザを食べてみたい！と思って帰りました。

一切れで、ものすごくお腹がいっぱいになる感じです。
結構濃厚なトマトソース。若干多すぎかも？
おいしかったものの、お腹いっぱいになりすぎてしまいました
あと、思ったよりもイタリアンソーセージがスパイシーでした。
私にとっては、これは、ピザというより、パイかも

これはお店のせいではないのですが、実は、２回ともデリバリーで痛い思いをしました。
１回目は、ピザは出来上がっているのに、ドライバーがどこかに行ってしまって、結局お店に取りに行くことに。
もちろんすごい時間が経っていたので、ピザは冷たくなっていました。
２回目は、配達に時間がかかりすぎて、予定されていた時間から４５−６０分くらい遅れたので、合計２時間近く待たされることに。
次に注文するときは、別のデリバリーサービスを頼もうと思います。。。

I thought it was like other Italian restaurants as it's located in Little Italy in North Beach; but, according to their website, it's more focused on Chicago Pizza and Detroit Pizza. When it comes to Chicago style pizza, I imagine a heavy pizza that looks like a pie. Apprently, what I was thinking of is called Deep Dish and there are some other types of Chicago pizza. On the other hand, Detroit Pizza is square shape with thick and soft dough on my impression. I didn't know anything about Detroit Pizza unitl I ordered it. It seems like you bake Detroit-style pizza in high heat in shorter time and deep dish in lower heat in longer time like more than 30min.
I went to Capo's before Covid happened. It was always packed and you had to wait for a long time unless you made a reservation. I didn't know this place was famous for their pizza at that time and we ordered pasta. After ordering, I noticed that many people were actually ordering pizza. However, pasta was great and I was surprised at its volume. I liked it. Since it was good, I got curious about their pizza.
Later, I ordered some pizzas to try; Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and Detroit Pizza. You can check them in the above pictures. Hopefully, you get some ideas on its size, which is big. I got full after eating one piece. Tomato sauce was very rich. It was a little bit too much for me and I got so full but it tasted good. Italian sausage was a bit more spicy than I thought. It was like a pie to me. Their to-go box gives a strong impression.
It's not about the restaurant itself, but I faced some trouble with delivery service that I used to purchase their pizza. For the first time I ordered, although pizza was ready, it was never picked up by a driver. We ended up picking them up. Of course, pizzas got cold as it was staying at a restaurant for a long time. For the second time, a delivery driver took so long to pick them up and deliver. It ended up getting pizzas almost 2 hours after ordering which was 45-60min late. I should probably use a different company next time so I can get a pizza in a better condition.
