私の好きなカフェの一つ
Blue Bottle Coffee (ブルーボトル コーヒー)
10年前に日本からサンフランシスコに来る方がいたら、ぜひここのコーヒー
を試して！
という感じだったと思いますが、
今は、東京にもお店がある
ブルーボトルコーヒー
ロゴも印象的ですよね。
ダウンタウンを中心に、サンフランシスコ市内にいくつか店舗がありますが、カリフォルニア州のオークランド発（サンフランシスコの東側のイーストベイエリアの街の一つ）です。
ちょうど20年前の2002年に設立されたので、20周年のようです
まだ、第一号店には行ったことがないので、いつか行ってみたいです
コロナ禍で、オフィス街にあるいくつかの店舗が、一時的に閉じていたり、
開いてるお店も、しばらく店内の利用はできないようになっていましたが、最近店内もオープン
各店舗それぞれ雰囲気は若干異なりますが、
基本は同じで、清潔感があって、木製のテーブルと椅子が印象的
雰囲気も好きです
そして、丁寧に一つずつ作られる高品質なコーヒーも
とても美味しくて、個人的に、気に入っています

蓋は、必要に応じて、自分で
注文してから、一つ一つドリップされるコーヒーなので、
待ち時間は長いです
特にすごく混んでいる時は、結構長いこと待たないといけないので、急いでいる時は、注意が必要です
ここのワッフルはベルギーワッフルで美味しかった覚えがあリます。
店内で売られている商品を少し
今回は日本語表示がある商品はありませんでしたが、
店内で売られている商品に、時々日本語を見つけて不思議に思ったことがあるのですが、日本に結構店舗があることを知って納得。
日本は、東京の他には、横浜、京都、神戸にあるようです。
ウェブサイトに載っているお店の写真の様子は、若干雰囲気が異なるのかも？
東京のブルーボトルとこちらのブルーボトルのコーヒー、いつか比べてみたいです
日本語版のウェブサイトに歴史や会社のことが分かりやすく説明されていたので、こちらには記載しませんでした。

One of my favorite cafes in San Francisco
Blue Bottle Coffee
I or many local people would have probably recommended to try Blue Bottle Coffee if someone was visiting San Francisco from Japan 10 years ago. But, now Tokyo has a few Blue Bottle Coffee stores. Their logo is simple but catchy.
While there are a couple stores in San Francisco, mainly around downtown, it''s originated in Oakland, California. (It is one of cities in east of San Francisco, East Bay). Apparently, they started in 2002 so this year is their 20th Anniversary! I've never visited the first store so I should go there sometime in the future.
Due to the Covid situation, I found some stores temporarily closed and the rest were not opening indoor spaces for a while, only recently have they begun to open. Each store has a slightly different interior but I think the basic concept is the same. They are clean and refreshing with wooden tables and chairs. I like the atmosphere. Of course, their coffee is amazing. A high-quality coffee will be brewed one by one after they take orders. The aroma is good. After taste is good also. It's one of my favorite premium coffee. I added some pictures above. You put the lid if you'd like. As they roast coffee beans after taking order, wait time is a bit long. Especially when it's busy, you'll have to wait long and you should be careful when you're in a hurry. They also offer Belgium style waffles and they taste really good.
I've seen some Japanese on a tag of some products sold at the store before. I found it interesting as I couldn't relate coffee shop from Oakland to Japan. But, I kind of understood now as they have a few stores in Japan. Apparently, there are Blue Bottles Coffee cafes in Yokohama, Kyoto and Kobe besides Tokyo in Japan. Looking at some photos of their store, I feel like it looks a little bit different. I want to compare them when I get a chance!
Since their website explains well about their story and the company, I didn't mention about them.
