For the month of May, we conducted an Earthquake drill.
Some of the kids from childcare was their first time to encounter a drill. Few kids cried because of the loud ring of the bell, but with the help of our nursery teachers around them, they stop crying as they feel safe and secure. Wearing their protective hoods was no problem. From the G-2 to G-5 class who is already familiar with different kinds of drills, the first thing they did when they heard the bell rang was they went to their classroom teachers, hold their head and they listened carefully to the teacher's instructions.

災害はいつ起こるか分かりません。
訓練に真剣に参加する子ども達の姿を見て、日々の訓練の大切さを感じました。
