An earthquake evacuation drill at nursery school trains the young children and teachers of Lakeside to react safely during and after disaster or emergency.
Everyone was in silence after an emergency bell rings followed by a calm, orderly evacuation to a designated outdoor safely zone where attendance is taken.
Outdoor, after a moment of fear because of the alarm, kids were excited and amazed when they saw the firefighters and the big firetruck. Some waved happily, while others watched with wide eyes and asked many questions.
Children at Lakeside was so very happy to meet our friendly Firefighters.
