台湾語基本単語2000に、「つくろう」の単語 "thīⁿ-saⁿ（綻衫）"があった。もともとスペルミスで手持ちの辞書で見つからなく調べているうちに、同意義の単語 "pó͘-saⁿ(補衫)"を見つけた。台湾語大辞典で再度調べると両方とも同じような意味合い。
こういう生活に根ざした単語はどちらの単語が多く使用されているか興味があり、ツイッターに投稿してみた。結果的には次のとおり。
"thīⁿ-saⁿ" は糸で縫う。
"pó͘-saⁿ" は布をあてて縫う。
どちらも大雑把に言ってしまえば「つくろう」だが、具体的な方法は違う。
スペルミス間違いから始まったが、収穫は大きかった👍

In Taiwanese Basic Vocabulary 2000, there was a word "thīⁿ-saⁿ (綻衫)" for "repair cloth". I couldn't find it in my dictionary due to a misspelling, but I found a same meaning word "pó͘-saⁿ (補衫)". I look it up again in the defferent Taiwanese Dictionary, and foud it almost same.
I was curious as to which words were used more often in everyday life, and I posted them on Twitter. As a result:
"thīⁿ-saⁿ" sew with thread.
"pó͘-saⁿ" is patch up with cloth.
Roughly speaking, both are "repair cloth", but the specific methods are different.
It started with a misspelling, but it paid off big.
