The manslaughter which occured in Akihabara early in this afternoon was horribly shocking, and I feel terribly sorry for the people who were killed in it and their families. In my opinion, there's no question that the 25-year-old guy who killed 7 innocent people and injured 13 people shoud be put to death. Death penalty is the right thing to be done to him. I mean, in this case, there's no room for any argument. He's no more than a selfish person. How could a person take lives of innocent people?? Above all, what's going on in real world? Violet crimes like shootings and stabbings should have been relatively rare in Japan, but it's no more... I read an article in a newspaper which said the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department planed to launch an e-mail service to provide subscribers with warnings about wanted suspects, their crimes and locations, but I don't think it a solution of this problem that our Japanese society suffers from.
