科学者の専門チームは、エイリアンかもしれないと主張する人もいる、いわゆるナスカのミイラをさらに調査する必要があると考えている。

このチームには、デンバー市の主任検死官兼検視官のジェームス・カルーソ博士、法人類学者でメリーランド州検死官のウィリアム・ロドリゲス博士、コロラド大学の元教授で法医歯学者のジョン・マクダウェル博士が含まれている。

A crack team of scientists reckon the so-called Nazca mummies, which some have claimed could be aliens, need to be investigated further.
The figures were discovered in Peru's Nazca region but have stumped the world since gaining significant media attention last year.
They were purportedly found by local farmers in 2017 and subsequently brought to the attention of researchers. They were reported to have unusual features, including elongated skulls and three-fingered hands, sparking speculation and debate about their origins and authenticity.
William Brown, author of Enigmatic North America: Legends, Oddities & Controversial History, tweeted earlier this week to say "the best USA team that you could possibly ask for" was in Peru to study the bodies. He said it could finally lead to some answers if they are allowed to study "properly going forward".
The team includes Dr James Caruso, chief medical examiner and coroner of city and county of Denver, Dr William Rodriguez, a forensic anthropologist and Maryland State medical examiner, and Dr John McDowell, a retired professor at University Colorado and forensic odontologist.
In January, forensic experts with Peru’s prosecutor’s office said the objects were made with paper, glue, metal and human and animal bones.

"The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times,” said forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada, who led the analysis. “They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens.”
However, a press conference held in Peru on April 4 however gave the three American scientists chance to conclude the bodies urgently need further investigation. The team reportedly said nobody can conclude they are fake at this stage.
