ソーサー作戦（ポルトガル語：Operación Prato）は、1977年から1978年にかけて、コラレス市でのUFO目撃の疑いでブラジル空軍によって行われた調査である。
1977年、ブラジルのパラ州コラレス市で複数のUFOが報告された。地元住民は、空飛ぶ円盤に襲われていると主張した。
形、大きさ、色の異なる光る物体が梢のわずか数メートル上を低空飛行し、地上にいる人に向かって光線を発射したという。

Operation Saucer (Portuguese: Operación Prato) was an investigation carried out between 1977 and 1978 by the Brazilian Air Force after alleged UFO sightings in the city of Colares.
In 1977 several UFOs were reported in the Brazilian city of Colares, Pará. Local residents claimed that they were being attacked by the flying saucers.
Glowing objects of different shapes, sizes and colors are said to have flown low just a few meters above the treetops and shot beams of light at people on the ground.
The scars on their bodies were caused by the lights in the sky and they called the lights “Chupa Chupa”.
The lightning bolts emitted intense beams of radiation that caused puncture marks and injuries with some reports to local media at the time feeling like a “heavy weight pushed against the chest.”
When they tried to scream, no sound came out, but their eyes stayed open.
“The lightning was hot, almost as hot as a cigarette burn.”
Actual alien evidence
Describing the injuries, Dr. Wellaide Cecim Carvalho, who worked in a health unit in the region in the 1970s, wrote: “Everyone had injuries to the face or the thoracic region.” That without a doubt alien evidence
“The lesions, similar to radiation injuries, started with intense redness of the skin in the affected area.
“Then her hair would fall out and her skin would turn black. There was no pain, just a slight warmth.
“We also noticed small puncture marks on the skin. The victims were men and women of various ages, without any pattern.”
Believing this would dim the lights, the residents of Colares organized nightly vigils, lit bonfires and fireworks. Mayor José Ildone Favacho Soeiro requested help from the Air Force.
The operation was commanded by Captain Uyrangê Bolívar Soares Nogueira from Hollanda Lima. In late 1977 several photos of lights were recorded as part of the alien evidence.
According to ufologist Jacques Vallée, several people died as a result of the “lights” shot at them by UFOs and the injuries were consistent with the effects of microwave radiation. Other ufologists claimed that the lights of the UFOs sucked the blood of 400 people.
In 1997, two decades after the operation, Captain Uyrangê of the BA Brazilian Army, gave an interview to ufologists Ademar José Gevaerd and Marco Antônio Petit where he recounted his experiences with his men in this alien Evidence. Three months after the interview was found dead at his home “after apparently hanging himself with the belt of his bathrobe.”
