時制の一致・間接話法
・「…であると気づいた」のように、日本語では現在形で表す場合でも、英語では過去形の動詞に続く節の動詞を過去形にする。
・「…であったと気づいた」という場合には、過去完了形になる。
・他人が話した内容を伝える場合、その話を自分のことばに直して表現する。その場合、時制や代名詞に注意する。
